At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on agrarian policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection on March 9, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova reported that over 8.2 million trees have been planted in Kyrgyzstan as part of the national program "Zhasyl Muras."

During the committee meeting, the work of the Ministry of Natural Resources for the year 2025 was discussed.

According to Asel Raimkulova, as part of the implementation of the biodiversity management program and the "Zhasyl Muras" program, 8 million 233 thousand trees, shrubs, and other green plantings have been planted across the country.
