According to information provided by the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service, such landfills were discovered in the village of Kun-Tuu, located in the Sokuluk district, as well as in the village of Sary-Koo in the Jayil district.
As a result of the conducted activities, the offenders were fined 30,000 soms in accordance with Articles 115 (dumping, storage, and burning of waste in unauthorized places) and 434 (violation of the procedure for executing orders of the authorized body) of the Code of Offenses.
The Ecological and Technical Supervision Service of the Chui region stated that in 2026, stricter control over cases of illegal waste disposal in the region will be implemented.
