Illegal hunting, fishing, and burning of dry grass. The Environmental Supervision Service conducted raids in the Osh region.

On January 6, employees of the Osh Regional Administration and the Biodiversity Department of the Ecological Supervision Service, as well as representatives of the "Bars-2" NABU group, conducted raids in the Kara-Suu, Alay, and Uzgen districts.

According to information provided by the Ecological Supervision Service, during the inspections, fines were imposed on three men for illegal fishing, with a total penalty amounting to 3,000 soms in accordance with Article 266 of the Code of Offenses, which pertains to violations of fishing regulations.

In the Alay district, in the Kapchigay area, a citizen was detained for catching three chukars using traps. He was fined 10,000 soms under Article 261 of the Code of Offenses, which concerns illegal hunting or capturing of wild animals. Additionally, a claim was filed against him for 6,000 soms for the three chukars caught.

In the village of Kyzyl-Suu, a citizen was also identified who was burning dry grass. For this, he was fined 7,500 soms, which corresponds to part 3 of Article 115 of the Code of Offenses, prohibiting the disposal, storage, and burning of waste in unauthorized places.
