On December 15, 2025, a man named A. A., born in 1966 and residing in the village of Kara-Zhyhach, approached the police department of the Alamudun district. According to his statement, in November 2024, E. U., taking advantage of his trust under the pretext of a joint business venture, deceitfully acquired funds amounting to 600,000 soms and then disappeared.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was registered under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On January 3, 2026, during operational activities, police officers were able to establish the whereabouts of the suspect, after which he was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The district court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months.
