According to reports, on May 16, 2025, a citizen M. M. filed a complaint against F. S. with the First May District Department of Internal Affairs. He stated that in September 2024, the latter received a Chevrolet Trailblazer worth $20,000, which was given as payment for the construction of a bathhouse at a summer house. The amount agreed for the construction work was $10,000, and F. S. took on the obligation to return the remaining $10,000 in cash. However, the obligations were not fulfilled, and the suspect went into hiding.
In this regard, the investigative service of the First May District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
A suspect in fraud has been detained in Bishkek. As a result of operational measures, the police managed to establish the whereabouts of F. S., born in 1989, and bring him to the investigative authorities. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs.
By the decision of the investigative judge of the First May District Court, the detention of the suspect was deemed lawful, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen. He was sent to detention facility No. 1.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to establish the possible involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes.
