The Antimonopoly Service Returned Over 5 Million Soms to Consumers After Complaints

The antimonopoly service reported that as a result of reviewing consumer complaints, over 5 million soms have been returned. Muratbek Imankulov, Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, announced this information on the air of "Birinchi Radio," summarizing the results for 2025.

He noted that more than 700 appeals had been received from residents of various regions of the country, leading to over 5,000 inspections. During these inspections, violations were identified, such as discrepancies in prices of goods displayed on shelves and those on cash receipts.

In accordance with the Code of Offenses, the total amount of imposed fines amounted to 200,000 soms, Imankulov added.

The antimonopoly agency reminds that appeals from citizens are accepted nationwide. Consumers can submit complaints either in person, by phone, or through the official website of the service in electronic format.
