At the moment, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has not made a decision regarding the extension of state price regulation on meat. This was reported by Muratbek Imankulov, head of the antimonopoly regulation service at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, during a broadcast on "Birinchi Radio."

It is worth reminding that temporary price regulation on beef and lamb was introduced due to the increase in their cost and was supposed to remain in effect until December 31, 2025. The Ministry of Economy established maximum prices for meat across all regions of the country.

Imankulov explained that the set maximum prices prohibit the sale of meat products at higher rates.

In particular, in Bishkek, the maximum price for beef is 680 soms per kilogram, while for lamb it is 670 soms.

The specialist added that a final decision on the extension of state price regulation has not yet been made.
