The results of the work of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of Kyrgyzstan in the field of copyright and related rights for the year 2025 have been summarized.
According to the report, the total amount collected as copyright remuneration exceeded 27 million soms. This indicates an improvement in law enforcement practices and a growth in the culture of using intellectual property objects, as noted in the agency's statement.
During the year, 358 licensing agreements were concluded with users regarding objects of copyright and related rights, and 531 objects of such rights were registered.
The measures taken are aimed at strengthening the legal protection of rights holders, promoting the development of creative industries, and creating conditions for an innovative economy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
