During today's meeting, the Central Election Commission approved the budget for conducting repeat elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the multi-mandate electoral district No. 13. According to information from the agency, the repeat elections are scheduled for March 1, 2026. The total amount of funding will be 18 million 507 thousand soms, which will be allocated from the republican budget. The budget includes costs for organizing and providing information support for the electoral process, payment for the work of members of district and precinct commissions, as well as specialists involved in the work. In addition, daily allowances for meals on voting days, centralized purchases for electoral commissions, technical support for polling stations, preparation of informational materials, conducting training events, and travel expenses are also planned.
The budget calculation was made considering the work of one district electoral commission consisting of 15 people and 94 precinct commissions with a total of 965 members. This group includes 188 operators of automatic ballot boxes for counting votes, 188 operators of equipment for voter identification, 55 operators providing technical services for citizen identification, and 24 technical support specialists.
The CEC emphasized that all necessary activities will be completed on time to ensure that the elections are held in strict accordance with the current electoral legislation.
