According to information from the Ministry of Education, 1,606 schoolchildren who took prize places (1st and 2nd) in district Olympiads are participating in this stage.
The Olympiad covers the following subjects:
- English language, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history;
- for classes where instruction is conducted in Kyrgyz: Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature;
- for classes with Russian as the language of instruction: Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature.
