On the site of the now-closed parking lot located next to the Bishkek mayor's office, the construction of a new administrative building is planned, complemented by a two-level underground parking garage. This information was announced by Ermek Arymbaev, head of the Capital Construction Department, at a meeting of the Bishkek municipal property commission.
He also noted that the process of designing and preparing for construction is currently underway.
Some deputies expressed dissatisfaction regarding the closure of the parking lot until the design work is completed and suggested temporarily reopening it for use by visitors and employees, as there are no alternative parking spaces nearby.
