In state driving schools, the possibility of reducing the driving training period to four months is being considered. This information was presented by the State Center for Vehicle Registration.
It is reported that at the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, the agency is exploring options to shorten the training period, which according to new regulations will be 10 months.
As part of a pilot project, cadets who demonstrate excellent results during their training will be able to take the test after four months and receive a temporary license valid for one year. If they do not commit any traffic violations during this time, they will be issued permanent driver's licenses.
It is also worth noting that starting from February 10, an online application process for citizens to enroll in state driving schools will begin in the Kyrgyz Republic, along with the implementation of updated driver training programs.
Licenses for private driving schools have been revoked.
