The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, reported that the plans for 2026 include the reconstruction of the old swimming pool at the Koyomkul Sports Palace. The construction of a new hospital building on Julius Fuchik Street, an ice rink, and a multifunctional sports complex on Toktonalieva Street is also planned.
Among the ongoing projects, the construction of a wrestling hall in Maevka and sports facilities in the residential area "Yntymak" is continuing. Additionally, it is planned to complete the construction of a four-story building for the "Young Technicians Station" in 2026.
Also on the list of planned projects is the reconstruction of the "Chatyr-Kul" cinema. The city hall clarified that the renovation of the facility will be carried out in accordance with modern standards.
Special attention will be paid to the modernization of communal infrastructure, particularly the updating of the production base of the municipal enterprises "Tazalyk" and "Bishkekzelenstroy".
The municipality emphasized that the implementation of these projects is aimed at developing the city's social infrastructure and improving the quality of services for the residents of the capital.
