On February 18, 2026, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, visited the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploset" to inspect the organization's operations. The information was provided by the press service of the mayor's office. During his visit, the mayor familiarized himself with Pumping Station No. 1, where he was shown the results of repairs and technical work aimed at improving the reliability of the heating supply system. In particular, he was shown the old heating network pipes that had been in operation since 1985.
According to the enterprise, 63 emergency incidents were recorded during the current autumn-winter period. For comparison, there were 73 emergencies in 2024-2025, and 87 in 2023-2024.
"There is a need to modernize many pipes, and we are gradually replacing them. It is impossible to completely renew the system at once — the work is being carried out in stages. We are repairing and simultaneously replacing the most worn-out sections, so we ask the residents of the city to be patient," the mayor noted.
Additionally, Junushaliev reviewed the updated dispatch service after its major renovation and the operation of the information system "ZULU GIS," which contains passport data on the city's heating networks. The dispatch center, equipped with modern monitoring and management equipment, allows for real-time tracking of the system's status and controlling the movement of special vehicles using GPS trackers.
At the end of the visit, the mayor positively assessed the enterprise's activities and set the task of increasing the number of subscribers and successfully completing the heating season of 2025-2026.
