Significant changes are expected in the public transport system of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. All 72 routes will be completely redesigned, and new routes will also be introduced. This was announced by Ulanbek Beishenbaev, the director of the transport department and road transport infrastructure development of the mayor's office.

He noted that familiar routes will be changed, and in some cases, transfers will be required for trips from one point to another.

Additionally, a new fare payment system will be implemented. "Passengers will be able to use a single fare for one hour, even if they have to make transfers," he added.

When using the "Tulpar" card, passengers will be able to make up to two or more transfers within 60 minutes for just 17 soms.

“The optimization of the route network includes a complete redesign of the existing schemes and a reduction in bus waiting times. All changes will be considered in terms of convenience for residents and guests of the city, and will also be synchronized with upcoming road works,” Beishenbaev commented.
