The winners of the 2026 Berlinale International Film Festival have been announced
The awards ceremony of the 2026 Berlinale International Film Festival took place, during which the names of the winners were announced. The festival's main prize, the "Golden Bear," was awarded to the film "Yellow Letters," created by German director of Turkish descent Ilker Catak.

The Grand Jury Prize went to the film "Salvation," directed by Emin Alper from Turkey. Additionally, a special mention was given to the work "Queen of the Sea," directed by American filmmaker Lance Hammer.

The Silver Bear for Best Leading Role was awarded to German actress Sandra Hüller for her performance in the film "Rose" by Austrian director Markus Schleinzer. Meanwhile, the award for Best Supporting Role was shared by Anna Calder-Marshall and Tom Courtenay for their performances in "Queen of the Sea."

The award for Outstanding Direction was presented to British director Grant Gee for the film "Everyone Loves Bill Evans," while the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay went to Geneviève Duluard-Dessel for her work "Nina Rose."

Furthermore, the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution was awarded to directors Anna Fitch and Bankir White for their documentary "Love is a Rebel Bird."

It is worth noting that the main program of the 76th Berlin Film Festival included 22 works.
