According to the official match schedule of the Premier League, the 2026 season will include 16 teams, which is two more than in the previous tournament. This increase in the number of participants and their geographical representation is expected to enhance competitiveness and overall improvement of the tournament level. Let us remind you that in the 2025 season, which was held under the name Kyrgyz Premier League, 14 clubs participated, and the championship title was won by "Bars" from Karakol.
In the new season, the teams competing for the championship title will be: "Dordoi," "Ilbirs," "Aziyagol," "Alga," "Bishkek City" (Bishkek), "Abdysh-Ata" (Kant), "Aziya" (Talas), "Alai" and "OshMU" (Osh), "Bars" (Karakol), "Kyrgyzaltyn" (Kara-Balta), "Muras United" (Manas), "Nefchi" (Kochkor-Ata), "Ozgon" (Uzgen), "Talant" (Besh-Kungey), and "Toktogul" (Toktogul).
The first round includes the following matches:
On March 1, the matches "Ilbirs" against "Alai" and "Nefchi" against "Ozgon" will take place. On March 2, "Kyrgyzaltyn" - "OshMU" and "Aziyagol" - "Abdysh-Ata" will enter the field. The first round will conclude on March 3 with the matches "Alga" against "Talant" and "Bishkek City" against "Bars." The games "Toktogul" - "Muras United" and "Aziya" - "Dordoi" have been postponed to March 18.
