According to Kubanov, the establishment of this center will be a significant step for the country, as it will:
- open opportunities for the return of Kyrgyz IT specialists working abroad;
- attract the attention of international technology companies;
- provide a platform for training new personnel in the field of technology.
He also noted that the "national center" refers not just to a building, but to a full-fledged laboratory and technological hub that will unite the IT sector, scientific research and development, and will also serve as a foundation for large-scale projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
In addition, an agreement has already been signed to establish the first international IT college in Kyrgyzstan, which is expected to become a key element in training specialists for both government institutions and the private sector.
"We are creating a powerful platform for education, skills enhancement, and the development of citizens' potential. Our goal is to make Kyrgyzstan an active participant in global processes in the field of artificial intelligence," added Nursultan Kubanov.
The project will be implemented under an investment agreement, and work will begin this year.
