
Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, signed a decree approving the Program for the Development of Culture and Arts for the period from 2026 to 2030, as reported by the Cabinet's press service.
As part of this document, an Action Plan for the implementation of the program, its budget, and a matrix for monitoring and evaluating its execution for the specified period were also approved.
The main goals and objectives of the program are aimed at the development of the culture and arts sector by 2030.
“The main goals of the Program are to expand citizens' access to cultural values and opportunities for self-expression, to develop civic identity, and to increase the influence of culture on social and economic changes in the country,” the official statement notes.
In addition, the program aims to strengthen cultural ties between regions, promote the integration of cultural initiatives, and create conditions for active citizen participation in the cultural life of the country.
The program includes about 30 activities grouped into 6 priority areas.
