The previous heads of the committees have stepped down
Today, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh discussed the election of new chairs for the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues, as well as for the Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues, Law and Order, Combating Crime and Corruption.
The Ala-Too parliamentary group proposed the candidacies of Gulkan Moldobekova for the position of chair of the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues, and Suyunbek Omurzakov for the post of chair of the Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues, Law and Order, Combating Crime and Corruption.
In turn, the Adilet Kyrgyzstan parliamentary group nominated Zhyldyz Kurmanalieva for the position of deputy chair of the Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues.
After a secret ballot, Suyunbek Omurzakov was elected chair of the Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues, and Zhyldyz Kurmanalieva became the deputy chair of this committee.
Gulkan Moldobekova was also elected chair of the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues.
