In Bishkek, the issuance of about 6.3 thousand apartments under mortgage programs is planned for this year. This was stated by Kylchbek Keldibekov, head of the Sales Department of the State Mortgage Company, during a broadcast on Birinchi Radio.
Currently, there are over 48 thousand people in Bishkek waiting to receive housing through the State Mortgage Company. Overall, the number of citizens waiting for apartments under the "My Home" program in Kyrgyzstan exceeds 90 thousand.
According to Keldibekov, a significant portion of those on the waiting list is concentrated in the capital — nearly half of all applicants, which amounts to over 48 thousand people, are registered here. In Bishkek, residents can apply for apartments through several programs: "Social Mortgage," "Preferential Mortgage," and "Affordable Mortgage."
"This year we plan to issue about 6.3 thousand apartments," he added. The "My Home" program continues to implement initiatives to provide affordable housing for citizens, taking into account the high demand for housing in the capital.
