As part of his working trip to the Jalal-Abad region, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurdana Oruntaev, familiarized himself with the progress on several construction sites in the area. The press service of the ministry reported this.
One of the sites inspected was the new administrative building of the Jalal-Abad Department of Urban Development and Architecture, located at: 6/2 J. Abdurakhmanov Street.
During the visit, the minister met with the department staff and noted that the building would be ready for use in the near future. He also emphasized the importance of architects in the region's development and highlighted that the buildings of architectural departments should serve as a model for modern infrastructure.
According to project data, the structure will be three stories high with a total area of 1,000 square meters. Inside the building, comfortable conditions will be created for employees, and quality and accessible services will be provided to citizens. Construction work started in October 2025.
Previously, the department was located in an old and cramped building, which created inconveniences for the staff. It is specified that the funding for the construction of the new administrative facility does not come from the state budget but is carried out based on the internal resources of the ministry.
