The president believes that the rule of law has been restored in the country
At a republican meeting, President Sadyr Japarov reported that more than 300 members of organized criminal groups have been punished. He emphasized that in the process of fighting crime, the state managed to recover damages amounting to over 38 billion soms.
“We have not only dismantled individual criminal groups but also eliminated the system that has ensured shadow influence for decades. Thus, we have restored the rule of law in the country,” he noted.
In addition, the president added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone significant digital transformation. Modern video surveillance systems have been implemented across the country, operating around the clock.
These measures have led to a 73 percent reduction in the number of registered crimes. In areas with installed surveillance cameras, the number of serious offenses has decreased by 68 percent.
