In her work, Cholpon combines felt with elements of kurak, and sometimes adds small inscriptions or wishes for future owners into the kalpaks.
According to Alamanova, the kalpak should not only be a festive attribute; it should become a part of everyday life. The artist hopes that her works will inspire young people and creative individuals to wear this headwear more frequently.

“I dream of the kalpak being worn not only on festive days or on the Day of the Ak Kalpak. It is truly a beautiful and comfortable headwear. It would be wonderful if it were worn more often by young people and creative individuals in everyday life,” she shares.
