In the Jalal-Abad Region, 555 transformers will be repaired and 14 new ones will be installed

In the Jalal-Abad region, it is planned to repair 555 transformers with a voltage of 6–10/0.4 kV and install 14 new devices. This information was provided by the Ministry of Energy.

The work will begin in March and last until November 2026. During the repair process, the technical condition of the transformers will be checked, worn components will be replaced, and necessary technical maintenance will be carried out.

The implementation of new transformers will positively affect the quality of electricity transmission, allow for better load distribution, and ensure stable electricity supply for consumers.

The repair and installation of new transformers are planned in the following settlements of the region:

- Aksy District — 55 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Ala-Buka District — 67 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Bazar-Korgon District — 41 units to be repaired, 2 new will be installed;

- Manas City — 24 units to be repaired, 2 new will be installed;

- Kara-Kul City — 19 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Kok-Art Valley — 53 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Mailuu-Suu City — 10 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Nooken District — 71 units to be repaired, 2 new will be installed;

- Suzak District — 81 units to be repaired, 2 new will be installed;

- Toktogul District — 92 units to be repaired, 1 new will be installed;

- Tash-Kumyr City — 28 units to be repaired;

- Chatkal District — 14 units to be repaired.

According to the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise, there are 4,348 transformers on the balance in the region. All of this equipment will undergo technical maintenance and repair by the end of the current year. The financing for the equipment upgrade is provided by JSC "NESC" with the support of the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise.
