Earlier, representatives of the Botanical Garden administration reported that the construction of two football fields began to the left of the main entrance, along 7 April Street. It is noted that the selected area is characterized by rocky soil and a lack of water, which complicates the growth of greenery.
In addition to the football fields, the project plans to create public infrastructure, including a conference hall, an amphitheater, a children's playground, and a workout area. The construction of running and cycling paths, as well as a separate pedestrian path with a soft surface, is also planned.
At the same time, work is underway throughout the Botanical Garden to implement a drip irrigation system. Information about the completion dates of the construction work and the amount of funding has not yet been disclosed.
