The musical performance "King and Jester: Shadows on the Wall" was shown in Bishkek and Kara-Balta.

It became a notable cultural event, created by the efforts of a school theater studio.

The production was presented by the theater group "Purple Dreams" from the town of Kainды in the Panfilov district, under the guidance of the instructor from the Panfilov District Children's Art School, Nezhdana Zaretskaya-Shcherbina.

The performance, based on the songs of the legendary rock band "King and Jester," was first presented in Bishkek at the youth festival "Russian Premiere," which took place on the small stage of the Chyngyz Aitmatov State National Russian Drama Theater.

In Kara-Balta, the showing of the musical performance "King and Jester: Shadows on the Wall" took place on the stage of the Lenin Cultural House.

The production combined rock music, dramaturgy, and visual symbols. All musical compositions were performed by the studio participants themselves.

As Nezhdana Zaretskaya-Shcherbina explained, the plot revolves around the confrontation between the tyrant King and the Jester, who in the finale overthrows the ruler and refuses the crown, transferring power to the people.

The main role of the Jester was played by sixteen-year-old Darya Patraty, a student of the studio, which she has been attending for 6 years, and a two-time prizewinner of the Delphi Games in the acting category.

However, behind the stage success lies a challenging reality: the group lacks a permanent rehearsal space and stable financial support. Classes are held in school classrooms, and plastic scenes are often rehearsed outdoors. Costumes and props are stored at the instructor's home. Nevertheless, the theater continues to live and develop.
