This information was announced by the press service of the Road Traffic Safety Department (UTBBD) under the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD) of the Chui region.
"Due to the sharp deterioration of weather conditions, accompanied by snowfall and a drop in temperature, we have intensified control over road safety," the statement notes.
Traffic inspectors from the Moscow district also reported that the road maintenance enterprise No. 28 has ramped up its efforts to clear the road of snow and spread inert materials on it.
"We urge drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules during snowfall. It is important to maintain a safe distance, avoid crossing into oncoming traffic, and not exceed the permissible speed," the inspectors added.
