These figures were announced at an operational meeting held by representatives of the Traffic Safety Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Naryn region, where the results of the past year's work were summarized.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Head of the Main Department for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Police Lieutenant Colonel Emil Jakypov, his colleague, the Deputy Head of the Naryn Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Colonel Rakhmat Murzakmatov, the Head of the Traffic Safety Department Nurbek Salymbaev and his deputy Bakyt Urmambetov, as well as other leaders of territorial divisions and employees working in the field of law enforcement practice.
According to the provided data, since the beginning of the year, inspectors have identified 28,333 violations, which brought 29,833,641 soms in fines to the state budget.
Violation Statistics:
- driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol — 801 cases;
- exceeding the established speed limit — 6,940 cases;
- illegal tinting — 106 cases;
- driving without necessary documents — 1,820 cases;
- auto hooliganism — 51 cases;
- ignoring traffic signs — 8,172 cases;
- violating overtaking rules by entering the oncoming lane — 689 cases;
- due to various violations, 4,214 vehicles were placed in impound lots.
During the discussion, Emil Jakypov outlined tasks for the Traffic Safety Department staff, urging them to hold coordination meetings with local authorities to reduce the number of road traffic accidents. He also emphasized the importance of organizing work to ensure safety on the roads.
Additionally, it was highlighted that employees must strictly adhere to the law, demonstrate politeness towards drivers, and pay special attention to those who grossly violate the rules and pose a threat to other road users, in order to strengthen preventive measures to prevent traffic accidents.
