
The agency established that the suspects provided fake notarized documents to "UNAA" and, after receiving a reward of $1,100, managed to have false information entered into the registry. As a result, the Lexus was registered and then sold to an unsuspecting buyer for $7,000.
The investigation revealed that in 2023, citizens S.A. and J.R. imported the mentioned Lexus RX 330, declaring it as spare parts. To carry out the illegal registration, they also acquired a registration certificate for a similar vehicle that had previously been damaged in an accident and belonged to citizen N.I.
Additionally, a scheme was used to evade customs duties, resulting in damage to the state, the extent of which is currently being determined.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 (Abuse of Office) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation is ongoing.
