In Suzak, local residents helped a roe deer that became a victim of stray dogs. This was reported by Durusbek Zalimbekov, head of the Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision in the Jalal-Abad region.

On January 3, in the rural district of Kök-Art, the roe deer, likely in search of food, descended into the village, where it was attacked by dogs. Local residents noticed what was happening and were able to save the animal.

“The roe deer was probably looking for food when it was attacked by stray dogs. One of the residents, seeing this, quickly intervened, sheltered the roe deer in his barn, and notified our specialists. On the same day, with the help of our staff, the animal was transported to Bishkek and handed over to the 'Bugu Ene' fund,” Zalimbekov reported.

The public fund 'Bugu Ene' is a non-profit organization operating in Kyrgyzstan that focuses on nature conservation and animal protection. This organization manages the 'Bugu Ene' zoo in Karakol and is actively involved in the rehabilitation of injured animals, as well as raising ecological awareness among the population.
