According to law enforcement agencies, this year S. A. and J. R. imported a Lexus RX 330 from Japan, presenting it as spare parts. For illegal registration and subsequent sale, they acquired a registration certificate for a previously damaged vehicle of the same make, which belonged to N. I., and also forged notarial documents.
According to police data, having colluded with an employee of the state enterprise "Unaa," J. B., the suspects provided false documents. As a result, for a reward of $1,100, changes were made to the database, including the substitution of VIN codes. This allowed the illegal registration of the vehicle and its sale to an unsuspecting buyer for $7,000.
In addition, according to the Department of Internal Affairs, a scheme to evade customs duties was implemented, resulting in damage to the state, which is currently being assessed.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Chuy region regarding the abuse of official position during the registration of the Lexus RX 330.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 "Abuse of Official Position" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the specialist from the state enterprise "Unaa," J. B., and citizen J. R. have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
