The incident occurred on January 6, when at 04:18 a resident of the capital reported to the police that he had become a victim of an attack in the Kalyis-Ordo residential area.
According to him, the criminals broke the window of his Honda Fit car, inflicted a knife wound to his thigh, and stole the vehicle, causing damage to it. Additionally, his phone, valued at 23,000 soms, was stolen.
The attackers also forcibly took the applicant's acquaintance and placed him in another vehicle—a Hyundai Sonata—after which they drove him to a deserted location. There, his phone was also taken from him, and the robbers disappeared.
This incident has been registered under Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Robbery").
As a result of operational actions by the Bishkek City Police and the First May District Police Department, the suspects were detained: E.T. (born in 2007), U.D. (born in 2006), M.A. (born in 2007), A.T. (born in 2009), M.T. (born in 2009), J.R. (born in 2009), and A.R. (born in 2007). All detainees are underage girls.
The suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility, and an investigation is currently underway.
