The press service of the Patrol Police Department reported that on January 5, a signal was received at the "102" duty station about the theft of a BYD car in the Sverdlovsk district.
During the operational actions, law enforcement officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle. When the police attempted to stop it, the driver, unwilling to surrender, began to flee, leading to a chase.
Despite the police's instructions to stop, the young car thief continued to drive and soon ran towards a canal, where he jumped into the water. However, he was apprehended.
As a result of further investigation, it was revealed that the theft was committed by a teenager. In this regard, the necessary procedural actions are being carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
