On the night of January 7, as part of the "Wheel" raid in Shopokov, in the area of the Novostroyka residential complex, officers of the Traffic Police of the Chui Region stopped a BMW X5 vehicle. During the document check, the driver showed signs of alcohol intoxication, which led to his being taken to a narcological facility.
On the way to Frunze Street in the village of Sokuluk, the man attempted to jump out of the moving vehicle, but the inspectors were able to hold him back.
At the narcological clinic, he got into a conflict with a police officer, resulting in damage to the officer's uniform and causing a closed head injury with a concussion.
This incident was classified under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect, identified as I.A., born in 1993, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
As reported by the press service, this same individual had previously been involved in a traffic accident. On February 18, 2022, in the village of Sokuluk, while driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 100, he hit two schoolgirls and fled the scene. The girls sustained serious injuries, leading to criminal cases being opened under Articles 312 ("Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of motor vehicles") and 144 ("Leaving in danger") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. These cases have been sent to court.
