The incident occurred on January 7, when one of the local residents called the emergency service 102 and reported that he had been stabbed. The victim was taken to the National Surgical Center named after M.M. Mamakeev.
The investigative-operational group of the Issyk-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. The man stated that the attack took place in the village of Pervomaiskoye around 02:15. A conflict erupted between him and his relative, who, using a kitchen knife, inflicted several wounds to the neck, shoulder, chest, and side of the abdomen.
This case was classified under Article 37-122 ("Attempted Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that there were hostile relations between them.
The law enforcement agencies detained a 19-year-old suspect named M.A., who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is currently underway.
