The incident occurred on January 7, when the duty officer of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district received a report from B. K., who stated that he had been seriously injured with a knife. The victim was immediately hospitalized at the National Surgical Center named after M. M. Mamakeev.
A forensic investigative group arrived at the scene, where B. K. reported that around 02:15, during a verbal altercation with his relative M. A., the latter had stabbed him with a kitchen knife, causing several cuts and puncture wounds to his neck, shoulder, chest, and abdomen.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Articles 37 and 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning attempted murder.
The investigation established that there were hostile relations between the suspect and the victim. As a result of operational-search activities, 20-year-old M. A. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.

All necessary examinations have already been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing.
