According to data provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department, on January 7, a woman from the village of Ivanovka reported to the Issyk-Ata District Internal Affairs Department. She stated that around noon, her husband had beaten her. After a medical examination, the victim was diagnosed with a closed fracture of the fourth rib on the right side, as well as multiple bruises and abrasions.
The incident was registered in accordance with Article 177 ("Domestic Violence") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect, born in 1993, A.E., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
