During the operation, several suspects were detained: A.U.A. (born in 1997), M.B. (born in 1966), M.M.A. (born in 2004), R.A.Zh. (born in 1968), A.E.Zh. (born in 1980), Zh.Kh.R. (born in 1970), and Sh.A.R. (born in 1978). In addition, a Russian citizen A.Kh.T. (born in 1972) has been placed on the international wanted list.
According to the investigation, the detainees are involved in the smuggling and sale of drugs produced in Afghanistan, in large quantities through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
During searches of the homes and vehicles of the detainees, as well as in hideouts, 136 kg 855 grams of drugs were found, including:
- opium — 20 kg 401 g;
- hashish — 116 kg 454 grams.
Cash assets were seized and handed over to the state, including $44,700, 8 million Uzbek sums, 2,000 rubles, and 396,000 soms. Vehicles seized include: a BMW 530i (2019), a KIA Sorento (2019), a KIA K3 (2022), a Hyundai Ioniq (2016), a Jeep Compass (2019), and a Toyota Alphard (2006).
As part of the investigation, several criminal cases have been opened under articles 262 ("Creation of a criminal community or participation in it"), 282 ("Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale"), 285 ("Smuggling of items subject to special rules for movement across the customs border of the Kyrgyz Republic"), and 378 ("Illegal crossing of the State Border of the Kyrgyz Republic") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
