On January 4, 2023, a citizen A. S., born in 1975, approached the internal affairs department of the city of Karakol with a statement about the disappearance of his minor daughter, as reported by Turmush correspondent.
According to the information from the statement, the girl, born in 2010, left home on January 2 around 14:00 and has not returned since.
The statement was registered in the information log of the internal affairs department of Karakol, after which appropriate checks and search activities began.
As a result of operational actions, the girl was found and handed over to the juvenile affairs inspection staff.
During the interrogation, conducted in the presence of her mother, she reported that on January 7, an incident of violence occurred in an unknown house in the village of Ak-Suu.
This incident was recorded in the log of the internal affairs department of Karakol, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated. A forensic medical examination was also appointed for the girl. Since the event took place in the Ak-Suu district, the materials were transferred to the relevant investigative authority in accordance with Article 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This fact was registered in the Crime Registration Book of the internal affairs department of the Ak-Suu district, and a criminal case was initiated based on the signs of a crime provided for in Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (sexual acts with a child under the age of sixteen).
During the investigative activities, suspects were detained — residents of the village of Ak-Suu O. U. and B. K., both born in 2006. During the preliminary interrogation, they admitted their guilt and were placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Articles 96 and 97 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
