According to information from the Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Osh, a local resident, B.Z., born in 1986, reported to the police. She stated that on December 30, 2025, at around 15:30, an unknown person stole her daughter T.M.'s mobile phone, born in 2012, on the lower floor of the "Max-Kom" shopping center located on A.Shakirov Street. The stolen phone was a "Redmi 13" model. The information was registered in the electronic log, after which verification and investigative actions began.
As a result of operational activities conducted by the criminal investigation department of the Ak-Buura police department, a 26-year-old resident of the Uzgen district, E.A., was detained.
It was revealed that he sold the stolen phone in the same "Max-Kom" shopping center to one of the mobile device traders for 5,000 soms and spent the money on his needs. Four criminal cases have also been opened against the detainee for similar offenses. He is currently in a temporary detention facility.
According to the police, this man already had five previous convictions and was released from places of deprivation of liberty in November 2024.
