Another suspect has been detained in the case of incitement to suicide, the Military Prosecutor's Office reported to the "AKIpress Summary" editorial office on January 8.
As part of the criminal case under Article 128, Part 1 ("Incitement to Suicide") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the platoon commander, Lieutenant R.u.A. from the Department of Guard and Escort of the State Penitentiary Service, has been detained and is currently placed in the temporary detention facility of the Manas Internal Affairs Department.
Previously, a serviceman M.M., born in 2006, was detained in connection with this case.
“Currently, a comprehensive investigation is underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. The claims of the legal representatives and relatives of the deceased serviceman will also be examined, based on which a legal assessment will be provided,” the prosecutor's office noted.
The incident that led to the tragedy occurred on January 5 at around 15:25 during the security of correctional facility No. 10 in the village of Bai-Munduz, Bazar-Korgon District, Jalal-Abad Region.
