According to information provided by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, on January 11, 2026, at 13:10, a report was received at the Kemin District Police Department about the discovery of a man's body with stab wounds in one of the houses in the city.
After registering the incident, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene. During the examination, it was found that the body of A.A., born in 1960, was discovered in the house with multiple stab wounds. The deceased's body was sent to the morgue for necessary forensic examinations.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code.
During the investigation, it was established that on the night of January 10 to 11, the victim was at the house of B.T., where they, along with another acquaintance, S.K., were drinking alcohol. After the crime was committed, S.K. left the scene.
As a result of operational search activities, police officers were able to identify the suspects and detain them. They are B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960, who are currently in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
