A verification has been initiated in Bishkek following the discovery of a man's body with a gunshot wound.
According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident occurred on January 7, 2026, around 11:00 AM, when a call was received by the "102" service. The caller, who identified herself as a house worker, reported that a man with a gunshot wound had been found in the apartment. She indicated that the house belonged to Z.K., born in 1967, and that a pistol was located under the body.
The fact was documented in the Unified Register of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Directorate, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated. An investigative operational group immediately went to the scene.
Upon arrival, the information was confirmed: the body of a man was found in the kitchen of the house, along with a pistol of an unspecified make, which was located under the body. The examination of the crime scene showed that order in the house had not been disturbed, and no signs of a struggle were found. During the visual inspection of the body, no other injuries were identified.
Based on the collected materials, the incident is preliminarily considered a suicide. Currently, necessary checks are being conducted, expert examinations are being appointed, and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
