In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies have detained two men on suspicion of murder, as reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the police, on January 11, 2026, at 13:10, a report was received at the Internal Affairs Office of the Kemin district about the discovery of a man's body with stab wounds in one of the houses in the city of Kemin.
After receiving this information, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene to clarify the circumstances. Upon examination, it was established that the found body belonged to a man, A.A., born in 1960, who had multiple stab wounds.
The body of the deceased was sent to the morgue for necessary forensic medical examinations.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under Article 122 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigative actions, it was established that on the night of January 11, 2026, the deceased was at the home of citizen B.T., where he was drinking alcoholic beverages with him and an acquaintance, S.K. After committing the crime, S.K. left the scene.
As a result of operational search activities, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspects — B.T. and S.K., both born in 1960. They were detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
