A man was detained in the Chui region on suspicion of hooliganism.
According to information from the Main Internal Affairs Department, on January 7, as part of the preventive raid operation "Wheel," in Shopokov, in the residential area "Novostroyka," officers stopped a BMW X5 vehicle. The driver, known as I. A., was detected to have the smell of alcohol, which led to his transport to the narcology department of the Sokuluk district.
During transportation, the driver behaved aggressively, used obscene language, and applied physical force to one of the police officers, resulting in bodily injuries and damage to the officer's uniform.
The results of the narcological examination showed that I. A. was in a state of alcohol intoxication. A forensic medical examination was assigned to the police officer; he was preliminarily diagnosed with a closed traumatic brain injury and a concussion.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 280 "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detained individual, born in 1993, has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
