The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region reported the detention of a person suspected of committing domestic violence. The report came from the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District, where on January 7, 2026, a woman named A.Z., born in 1995, filed a complaint. She stated that on the same day around noon, in the village of Ivanovka, her husband, citizen A.E., born in 1993, inflicted bodily harm on her during a conflict.
The fact of the incident was registered. Subsequently, a forensic medical examination was conducted, during which it was established that the victim had a closed fracture of the fourth rib on the right with displacement, as well as multiple contusions of soft tissues and abrasions.
Based on the collected data, a criminal case was initiated under Article 177 (domestic violence) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect A.E. was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
