On the same day, a resident of the Talas district named E.S. approached law enforcement. He reported the death of his father, 56-year-old E.Zh., and requested an investigation to determine the cause of his death.
After the statement was registered, a preliminary investigation was initiated. During operational activities, police officers detained the suspect — 46-year-old T.B., a resident of the Talas district.
Preliminary data indicate that T.B. was drinking alcohol with the deceased. During their conflict, he struck E.Zh. on the head with a stick, which ultimately led to his death in the hospital. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to clarify all circumstances.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee, and he has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
