Ensembles of the Osh Regional Philharmonic perform at the "Ramayana" festival in India

From January 13 to 24, the folklore ensemble "Aalam" and the dance ensemble "Ademi" from the Osh Regional Philharmonic named after R. Abdykadyrov are participating in the XI International Festival "Ramayana," dedicated to music and dance, taking place in India.

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Culture, this festival is organized at the initiative of the Government of India. Creative groups from Kyrgyzstan are performing as cultural ambassadors of their country on the international stage.

The festival program includes performances that illustrate the history and spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people, using national costumes, ancient musical instruments, and interpretations of the epic "Manas."

It is worth noting that in October 2025, 12 musicians from the folk instruments orchestra "Mölmöl" from the Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic named after T. Tynybekov also participated in the IX International Festival of Folk Instruments "Ramayana" in India.
