Over six thousand packs of tobacco products seized at the central market
During a tax control raid, employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic uncovered illegal circulation of tobacco products in Manas.
A hidden storage area at the central market was found to contain a batch consisting of 6,012 packs of cigarettes, with a preliminary value of 721,440 soms.
The products lacked excise stamps and necessary accompanying documents, which constitutes a violation of the law.
All necessary materials were compiled at the scene. Currently, documents are being prepared for submission to law enforcement agencies, which will conduct a legal assessment and take further action regarding this case.
